Resistances in Brazil and Cape Verde, 16th-19th centuries

In the Americas enslaved people have resisted in the most diverse ways. So did the peasantry exploited by landowners in Cape Verde in the 19th century. Cândido Domingues and José Évora discussed these themes at the Tabanca Museum within the framework of the Resistances (2019/01/24). Then the teacher Maria Eugênia Gomes Alves (IPC) made a guided visit to the museum.
